Petey is a sweet, affectionate boy who is thriving now that he’s finally in foster care and learning what it means to live in a home.

He is low-medium energy, 5 years old, 50 lbs and very adaptable, equally happy being a couch potato or joining you for a hike. Petey tends to go with the flow and enjoys whatever his people are doing, as long as he gets to be included.

ASH 🐾

February 20, 2026 at 7:03 PM — past his euthanasia medical deadline — we pulled Ash safely into our rescue thanks to the help of a fabulous foster💜

Ash was always calm, cuddly, and full of gentle “old man” vibes. But he was also experiencing seizures.

She is doing great and I’m told she is a snuggle bug and Velcro dog.

She is dog selective and takes time/slow introduction.

Rusty

I pulled Rusty from being euthanized.

It makes me sick when I have to put a dog into boarding. He has been working with a trainer with walks.

Desperate need of a foster/adopter without any other dogs. A backyard would be ideal where he would not have to interact with other dogs on walks.

We do not know how he is around cats that’s never been tested.

We pulled Rusty from Bartow from being euthanized on 9/26/2025

He is Heartworm positive and will starting injections this Friday.

I’m told Rusty is clingy. Rusty does well when he has to be in his crate but also has free range of the house most of the time and is excellent free roaming in the house when alone.

Rusty still gets over excited when he walks past other dogs.

For now he needs to be an ONLY dog in the house even though is doing good with a female. We have just not tested him with other dogs yet.
